Upcoming Gigs:

 Besides working with the Emerald City Jug Band and performing solo, one of my mates in the jug band, Jim Nason and I started The Rootsters (orginally named Teeth, Hair & Eyeballs), which is designed to be a more appropriate vehicle for those lyrical (and sometimes mushy) originals than a jug band. Well, TH&E turned out to be a short-lived project but we do have a nice CD — originally titled "Live at the Teeth, Hair and Eyes' Ball (minus Hugo House)," now titled "Ten Left" — to show for our efforts. Get it at CD Baby. (It will look different than the linked illustration until old copies are sold; same songs, though.) Since Jim decided to join blues trio Hounds@Bay with Steve Peterson and ECJB alumnus Larry Baumgartner last year, fellow Victory Music member Alan Kausal has replaced him as my RooTsters partner.

My latest project is to record two CDs' worth of songs almost simultaneously. One is all-blues for my solo work, the other will be a RooTsters' CD with Alan. Check out the great Pre-Release Offer and save money on both!

Check in here occasionally to see what's up. One of the new year's resolutions I actually intend to keep is the one about keeping this site updated more frequently.

You can also find me at the Q Cafe, 3233 - 15th Ave. W, Seattle, WA 9811, (206-352-2525; in the Interbay, right off the southbound Dravus St. exit on Eliot Ave.) on Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 9:30pm (sign-up ends at 6:45, but it's better be there beforehand).
